We created APNV in 1999, with many veterans from previous Societies. |

My main role is to advise the media (Radio, Television, Newspapers and local Government offices of an impending event and what the scenario will be on that weekend. |
|
|
|
APNV consists of Infantry, Artillery, Cavalry and Medical Corps, and to date our membership consists of some 350 men (90%) and women all playing their part as re-enactors of 1861-8165. |

Right now, the Union Army is a little stronger that the Confederates, so newcomers are more welcome into the Confederate ranks, but can choose to join the smart brushed up Union ranks. |

I, myself, am part of the Confederate Headquarters Staff and report to the Confederate Commander, who like me is an old campaigner, perhaps older and longer in the ranks. |
